General Education:
I really feel that general ed classes are important. For me they are a refresher into some topics and subjects that I have not seen or thought about since high school. I am going to this school for dental hygiene but to be able to write well for work in the field such as resumes, letters to potential employers, I need English to help me be more professional in my writing. Math is also a gen. ed class and I have always loved math so I don't mind it at all. I can usually figure it out pretty quickly. Using math in everyday life can be tricky when forming a budget or trying to figure out if you can buy a new car. However, it is important to know. I understand being frustrated that you are basically re-learning some of this stuff. I go through math and it is kind of repeat most of the time. Although English for me is completely brand new. I have learned so much in these last two English classes than I ever learned in high school.
